SAD news Babar Azam in Test Cricket,

Babar Azam has been given a break for Pakistan’s second and third Test matches against England and has not been removed. This decision was made after the Test Match between Pakistan and England when the latter batted in the first Test and set Pakistan a record target.

According to Opener batsman Imam Ul Haq the Pakistan selection committee in consultation with the team management felt that Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah should be rested ahead of the tour to New Zealand to manage workload for future series. Australia Zimbabwe and South Africa await the Pakistan cricket team thus the rest was necessary for the players' fitness and minds.

The team seems to have introduced new talent in the form of Haseebullah, Mehran Mumtaz, and Kamran Ghulam with Shan Masood being the skipper
